About Designed to Soar, INC
Designed to Soar, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) faith-based nonprofit organization committed to empowering underserved communities through stable housing and supportive services. We provide tailored housing solutions for veterans, individuals reentering society from incarceration, people with developmental disabilities, and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Our mission is to help individuals and families live as independently and successfully as possible. We uphold a creed of dignity, respect, and compassion for all we serve, and we are driven by a commitment to innovation, best practices, and measurable impact.
Our Mission
Our mission at Designed to Soar Inc. is to transform the lives of civilian Veterans and their families that are homeless due to incarceration, developmental disabilities, and other unforeseen circumstances. Giving them a renewed chance be self-sufficient through providing secure resources and assets. This transformation leads to community planning to end homelessness through advocacy and community collaboration such as providing shelter and other services that may include education, life skills, transportation, childcare, and counseling/case management.
It is our vision that every man, woman, and child no matter how deprived in circumstances of housing and necessities is valued, entitled to dignity and respect, and deserving of community assistance and will have the opportunity to have suitable, safe, and adequate housing to enable them to experience economic growth by allowing them the opportunity of sustainable criteria and primers such as Environmental, social, and economic development to prevent and end homelessness in the area we serve.
